I was the fat kid. I began “dieting” when I was 6 or 7 years old. My weight was the focal point of my childhood. After two summers at "fat camp", and dozens of “diets”, I finally lost almost 50 pounds at the age of 17. Now over 20 years later, and after giving birth to two children, I have successfully managed to keep that weight off. It’s an everyday struggle. Believe me, I understand! Personally, I have found success with a balance of choosing the right foods, in the right portions, with consistent exercise, and just the right amount of indulgence. I became a Registered Dietitian to inspire people to find their best inner self. To help people THINK HEALTHY…not SKINNY.
